“Us: Being The Hope of the World”

Jesus’ vision for the church is that we would be the palpable means by which people encounter the invisible God. The word palpable when used to describe an atmosphere means that it is so intense that the atmosphere is almost tangible. God expects His church to reflect His oneness so well that when people (believers and nonbelievers alike) are in it they can almost see and touch the very face of God. This is why we are the hope of the world. So how do we do that? That is precisely the question we will be asking this Sunday. How can we be the hope of the world. In preparation for this Sunday please read the following passage and come ready to experience the presence of God…

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47

God bless and see you soon, Clayton Kreisel
